Do you include prices on your website?
Because the precious metal's market is so volatile, we no longer list prices. When placing an order, that day's metal's price is locked in. Your invoice includes the product cost, appropriate state sales tax, shipping, handling, and insurance. We will contact you confirming the total cost.
How do I make payment?
Shellae does accept certified checks, money orders, and credit card payments. Product construction takes place the day your payment clears the bank. Our address is listed on the contact us page. It will also be shown in the confirmation e-mail you will receive once having placed your order.
Do your prices include shipping?
Your invoice includes the product cost, appropriate state sales tax, shipping, handling, and insurance. When possible, we use the US Postal flat rate service.
What is your shipping policy?
Product construction and estimated shipping date takes place the day your check, or money order clears the bank. Shellae will advise you of confirmation and shipping via e-mail that same day. Should your creation not arrive within 14 days from the date shipped, remember, your creation is insured. Shellae will take appropriate action for resolution of the problem.
Do you have the creations in stock I want?
You would be advised to check with us. Each creations is hand made. Shellae stocks a minimum of any one creation.
Am I able to request a special size or length?
Yes. We will contact and consult personally with you about your request.
Am I able to choose the quality of alloy (metals) used?
Yes. When placing your order, you will determine metal choice - sterling or karate gold content. Shellae does not offer works created in platinum.
How long will it take for you to fill my order?
Shellae will make every effort to complete creations in a timely manner. Your creation will have the same importance and attention each creation deserves. Our interest is having you pleased and proud of your creation. Shellae does not deal in high volume production. Your order is hand made. It will be queued and an estimated completion date will be sent via e-mail.
How will I know when my order has been shipped?
When your order is complete and ready for shipment, you will receive an e-mail stating your order has been shipped.
How do I contact you and when can I expect a response?
We are an independently owned and operated company. Many times we are working in the shop and aren't available to answer the phone. Please leave your name and phone number. A return call will be made within 24 hours. The easiest contact is made using e-mail.
Do you have creations in stores or other business locations?
Not at the present time.
Can I visit or come to your studio to purchase my creation?
No. Shellae is a closed studio. It serves as protection for the craftsman, keeps liability insurance rates lower, and allows uninterrupted work on your creation or that of someone else.
